The Zero Kick Hammer for the Spyder takes your marker to the next level in performance. The Zero Kick Hammer has been designed to be smoother, harder, and lighter than the stock hammer. Our design goals were to make your gun recoil less with each shot, cycle more smoothly and consistently, and have a longer wear life. The Zero Kick Hanmer for the Spyder is only 48 grams. The Stock hammer is 75grams. That's about a 40% reduction in hammer weight.
The idea behind the Zero Kick Hammer is to reduce the hammer weight to help improve the way the guns feels when its fired. Higher end guns are very smooth when they fire. They create very little kick and are considered to be more accurate mostly because they are easy to keep on target. This is because they have much less moving mass inside the gun. High end guns can have as little as 5 grams of moving mass. Spyder's have much more. The stock Spyder hammer is about 75 grams, and thats connected to the bolt which adds another 30-50 grams. In total, many Spyder have over 100-150 grams of moving mass in the gun. Thats 10 to 20 times more moving mass than other guns. While it may not sound like much, this difference in moving mass equates to a lot of added kick/recoil and that can only lead to reduced accuracy. It's the kick that causes the barrel to rise and fall between shots, and take you off target when trying to long ball your opponent. It is even more detrimental to aim at high rates of fire.

This hammer will work with Spyder and other markers that are "Spyder Clones". It will work with the stock bolt and valve, as well as with other aftermarket parts. We are including a new drive spring with the hammer, as well as 10 spring shim o-rings. The shim o-rings can be place behind the drive spring, on the spring guide, to help increase the maximum velocity of the marker back to 300 FPS.
