The Optimus Gauge Adaptor is for testing and/or permanent in-line regulator adapter. We designed an interchangeable thread system allows adapter to be used with any regulator thread, as well as allowing the gauge to be positioned anywhere. The perfect addition to any techs tool box.
Understanding the pressure within your marker is crucial for optimal performance. The pressure is managed by the marker’s regulator, and for those operating under 300 PSI, our digital gauge becomes an essential tool for precise adjustments.
This gauge not only allows you to set the desired pressure but also enables you to monitor the regulator’s functionality. A key indicator of a malfunctioning regulator is a gradual rise to the set pressure, especially if it takes longer than a minute to stabilize. We call that a creeping regulator, can usually be solved by greasing the regulator piston bring, changing the regulator spring to spring disk pack and or replacing the regulator seat.
Additionally, inconsistent pressure readings—such as fluctuating between 150 PSI and 155 PSI (jumpy regulator) —can signal the need for cleaning and seal replacement. A well-functioning regulator should consistently achieve the same pressure, ensuring your gun delivers reliable velocity.
Our digital gauges are designed to provide clear insights into your regulator’s performance, helping you determine when service is necessary. Without such precision tools, you’re left to guess if your paint to barrel match is causing inconsistent shots, is it your battery, solenoid, dwell setting, faulty O-rings? Its really hard to tell. All of these things can hinder your marker’s efficiency and consistency. Our low-pressure gauges effectively test your gun’s regulators, while the high-pressure version assesses your tank’s output pressure.
To simplify the process, our gauges work seamlessly with our Optimus Gauge Adaptors, allowing for easy installation without the need to detach the gauges from the adaptor.
The low-pressure gauge measures from 0 to 300 PSI with a sensitivity of 0.1 PSI, while the high-pressure variant ranges from 0 to 5000 PSI with an accuracy of 1.0 PSI. Ideally, you would connect both gauges simultaneously: the high-pressure gauge between the tank and marker, and the low-pressure gauge between the gun and regulator.
Elevate your testing and tuning experience. Consider adding our precision gauges to your toolkit today.
