The Gryphon is a newer addition to the Tippmann Family of paintball markers. Internally, it's very similar to the tried and true design of the 98 Custom and A5. Tippmann was going for a new look and a more afforable gun, so they gave it a plastic body, a gas thru grip, and a double trigger.
Out of the box, the Gryphon shoots, and is a great gun to target shoot with the kids in the back yard. Playing at a paintball field or in a game against players with other guns may leave you feeling at a disadvantage.
Fortunately, we make upgrades that can help you on your road to victory!
1. Our iFIT Barrel Kit will make it more accurate by allowing you to size the barrel to the size of the paint that you are using. This makes for less wasted air, more shots per tank fill, and tighter groupings. The iFit is the most affordable barrel boring kit, and works in conjunction with your existing barrel no matter what it is.
2. The Zero Kick Hammer will make it KICK LESS and smoother to shoot. Having a smoother shot and less recoil allows for better long range accuracy because the gun moves less with each shot. This makes corrections in aim easier and maintaining that correction possible.
3. The TechT Super Bolt for the Tippmann markers will help cut down on paint breaks and chops. It can sense when the ball is only partially loaded in to the breech, and instead of chopping the ball, it stops on it and re-cocks to allow the ball to feed completely.
4. The Hair Pin Trigger Kit will help reduce the trigger travel and sear contact area for a shorter trigger pull.
With our upgrades you will get increased BPS (balls per second), increased long range accuracy, and less ball breaks. You cant ask for much more than that out of such a basic gun.
